What we collect
On this pre-launch site we collect only the email address you submit to the waitlist. We do not collect names, track you with advertising cookies, or sell your information to anyone. To keep bots off the waitlist, the form runs a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that briefly processes basic technical information about your browser; we don't keep it. If you choose a language with the language switcher, we store that choice in a cookie so the site remembers it; it contains nothing else.
Why we collect it
We use your email for a single purpose: to notify you when the Foerta app launches. By submitting the form you consent to receive that launch announcement (and occasional related updates) from us, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and other applicable anti-spam and privacy laws.
How it's stored
Waitlist emails are stored with our email service provider, who processes them on our behalf and handles unsubscribe requests. Our service providers may store and process your email outside the country where you live, including in the United States; wherever that happens, it is protected as this policy describes. We keep your email only until launch communications are complete or you unsubscribe — whichever comes first.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we'll respond promptly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also contact the privacy or data-protection authority where you live.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we'll remove your address promptly.
